Weekend Wrap-up!

This weekend was pretty laid back. Friday evening I went to Jonathan's baseball game & froze my booty off. They won 16-4. He didn't really do too much, but he did get two errors in the last inning because he was goofing off. He was being so "Jonathan"!

Saturday we just lounged around the house and watched some movies. Then we headed over to our friend Danny's house for his birthday. We had to take the boys with us because our babysitter fell through. The boys had fun playing and we enjoyed watching the UFC fights. Evan had such a great time he was trying to fall asleep on the stairs.

Then he decided to get up and move to the front door. I guess he got tired of people stepping over him. It was too funny.

Sunday we did some more lounging and watched some more movies. The boys played outside the entire day. So basically that was our weekend. Not to bad, but could have been better (if Jonathan was here). Oh well there's always next weekend. Hope y'all have a great Monday!!!

Let me introduce myself...Hi my name is Hattie. I'm a 30 year old SAHM of 4 boys (13, 9, 5, 16mos). My oldest lives with his dad (long story, but everything is okay now & all is okay) and when he's not playing sports on the weekends he's hanging out with us! I've been with  my "hubby" Justin for 10 years now. We're not technically married we're just enjoying our "Kurt & Goldie" relationship for now (which mean some time in the future we'll get married)! Here at "God Love Him" I like to write about whats going on in our lives and post tons of pics of our crazy times. I suffer from "mommy" brain so this blog is a great way for me to remember things because with all that is going on in this house I  would forget what I did this morning! Ha! Look What I Got!!!

I had a few people comment about the purse I got at the Dogwood festival and that y'all wanted to see it. So here is my new lovely...(sorry picture quality isn't the best)

Then on Monday my new case for my iPhone came in. I decided to go with something girly, flashy & fun!!!

Then yesterday I went and bought my new favorite cleaning tool...the Shark steam mop!!! It does an amazing job. Makes cleaning supper fast & easy. I heard people raving about it on Twitter the other day, so I decide to give it a try. Wow!

Well those are a few of my new favorite things I've gotten lately to make my life a little more fun and easier! I'm off to pay some bills and hopefully find some motivation to clean! (I've already cleaned all my floors.) Ha! Hope y'all have a happy Thursday!

Dogwood Festival

Friday me & the boys headed to my sister, Lacey's house up in Woodville. Saturday they were having their annuel Dogwood Festival & parade.

There was face painting.

There was a small car show.

There were beautiful bluebonnets in front of the local florist shop.

There were art & craft booths and tons of yummy food.

Then we watched the parade (I had to hang out w/ all the punks b/c my sister was in the parade.).

Then someone was mad because he was ready to go and we had to wait on Aunt Lacey to get back from the parade. Ha!

We had a blast & I even scored a new zebra print purse!!! I'm not doing Weigh-In Wednesday today because I gained a pound back over the weekend & have decide to start all over! Ha! Hope y'all have a great Wednesday!!!

Easter 2010!

We had a great and busy Easter weekend. Friday we headed to my sister's for the Dogwood Festival and had a blast on Saturday there too ( I'll post about it tomorrow, ton of pics.). After we got home Saturday night the boys colored eggs.

Then Easter morning the boys woke up to see what the Easter bunny had brought them. They got Toy Story 1 & 2, PJs and of course candy!

Then we got dressed and headed over to Justin's parent's house. We ate some lunch and had a egg hunt for all the kiddos.

It was also Justin's nephew Eric's 13th birthday on Saturday, so I bought him a huge birthday cake covered in his favorite colors (red, purple & black). I forgot to bring candles and the only one's my MIL had were these two huge stick candles. It was too funny!

Yesterday Justin had off work so we caught up on some shows and movies. Then we went to Logan's Roadhouse for steak & it was soooooooooo good. Thank you Justin for ruining my diet! I think I gained 10lbs just from lunch yesterday. Ha! That's okay I'll get back on track today! Also Evan's been running fever off and on from yesterday. I think it's just his teeth, but I'll have to keep an eye on him! Hope y'all have a great Tuesday!!!

Good Friday is Good!

Well happy Good Friday y'all. I'm having a better day today and yesterday wasn't that bad after all. I actually was able to get some things done. The boys and I cleaned their rooms. That was a large task. They were so bad you couldn't even walk in them. Then last night I started filling the eggs for the Easter egg hunt.

I eventually ran out of eggs. I have four bags of candy left, so later I'm going to have to go buy some more eggs!!! Yes I go a little over board, but I just love watching all the kids get so excited over the eggs!

I also have to go order our nephew Eric's birthday cake. His birthday is tomorrow, but we'll celebrate it on Easter. Also I want to say that yesterday in the mail I received a Thank You card from Crystalle. It was her party we went to last Saturday and that I wrote about here. She even used the cards I got her to write the note on! See I told you they were cute! Ha!

I also received a blog award from my bloggy friend Nic over at Blessed With A Full House. She's a momma of four. She's been going through a lot lately in her life and still manages to keep a positive and loving attitude. I'm so happy to call her my friend. Go check her blog out and show her some love!!!



Well I'm off to go workout and get the boys ready. We're heading to my sisters (3 hours away) for the Dogwood Festival that's going on tomorrow. I wish Jonathan was with us this weekend, but he's with his dad at a beach house for Easter. I guess if I was 13 I would choose the beach over an egg hunt too! Don't worry about Justin being all alone either. He'll be at home tomorrow recovering from a bachelor party he's going to tonight! Ha! Hope y'all have a great Good Friday and Easter weekend!!!

Blah Day

You know those days when you don't want to do anything but just veg out, well I'm having one of those days. I don't want to do laundry...I don't want to clean the bathrooms...I don't want to do the dishes...I don't want to clean the boy's rooms...I don't want to vacuum & dust. I just want to sit here and do nothing, but thats not reality. There's also toys that need to be played with, sippy cups to fill, and bo-bo's that need to be kissed, but those are the only things that I might do today! Ha!

Hopefully I find some energy or motivation! I'm thinking about going over to my sister's tomorrow. They are having a Dogwood Festival up there and I'm thinking about taking the boys. Well I hope y'all have a great Thurseday and April Fools Day!
