Women Only Birthday Club

Saturday I went with my mom to her and my Great Aunt Betty's birthday party. Every year the women on my mom's side of the family get together as a women only birthday club. They celebrate each others birthday's throughout the year. It's so much fun. They laugh, eat and play a card bingo game. Everyone also gets the the birthday girl a card with $10 inside. I'm not part of the club right now because it's hard for me to make the birthday parties with the boys and with them playing sports on the weekends. But I was able to go yesterday and it was so much fun to see everyone! I took Evan with me too (he was the only male at the party)!

Busy Shopping!

Yesterday we went grocery shopping at Krogers. I did okay I saved $75 and spent $97, but I had to buy a lot of meat and food for the boys for Spring Break. Lord it's cheaper for them to go to school than for me to feed them at home!

Today my mom and stepdad are in town for a visit (really my stepdad had a dr. appointment). We ate at Kelly's again and I forgot to take a picture of their enormous portions of food!!! Then we went to CVS (to pick up my weekly deals) then we head to Target and Wal-Mart. I only wanted to spend $150 for my 2 weeks of groceries, but all said and done it ended up being $176. But I got $21 back for a return I did, so basically I was only $5 over! Woohoo! Oh and I still have $13 in extra care bucks for CVS and $4 in catilinas for Krogers! It was a great shopping day!!! Now I'm off to finish up the roast and  cooking for dinner! Hope y'all had a happy Friday and have a great weekend too!!!

Do You Tweet?

Okay I've gone and done it...I've joined the world of Twitter! Justin's been on there for awhile and has been trying to talk me into it. I'm already on Facebook and love it. I love being able to catch up with old friends and being able to post pictures for family to see. It's kind of what I like to do here on my blog. So now I'm trying to get into the world of Twitter. I was even amazed to find out that blogger had a link you can put on your blog ( should have guessed that one along time ago)! So what I want to know now is if y'all Tweet? Wordless Wednesday (kind of)

Today is Wordless Wednesday well kind of. Okay we've been having a debate at our house over Justin's mustache. He likes his mustache, but I don't! I don't mind the other facial hair, but I can't stand the mustache! So what do y'all think...

Saturday Night @ The Hop

Saturday we didn't just celebrate the boys birthday it was also Justin's parents 34th Anniversary! So after the party my mom stayed with the boys while we went to The Hop, a local night club, to celebrate.

It was so entertaining. The age group of patrons at the Hop are 45 and up! It was so funny to watch these older drunk people get down!!! My cheeks hurt so bad the next day from laughing so hard.

Chachi (Justin's mother) even said she thinks she did something to her knee that night. Sunday morning she woke up and it was all swollen!


Everybody had a great time! Yesterday morning Justin's cousin Melissa and her two kiddos came over for a visit and to play with the boys. They had so much fun playing together. I just wish I felt a little better. At first I thought I had caught Justin's cold, but I'm just achy. So I'm thinking it might just be allergies. My whole body feels like it's bruised and hurts when I move or am touched. Oh well I hope it goes away soon. Hope y'all have a Happy Tuesday!!!

Birthday Party!!!

Saturday we had Ethan (9) & Jaxon's (5) birthday party! They decided to go with a dinosaur theme. Luckily I was able to fine a few decorations at the dollar store and used the boy's dino toys.


These were the Thank You bags I made and filled with all kinds of goodies!

The boys had a ton of presents and it was total chaos opening them all up! Luckily nothing was lost in action!


The boys had a blast and so did we. Thanks to everyone who came & helped us celebrate. The only thing that could have made it better was if Jonathan was here, but I totally understand that it was his first game of the season. Hope y'all had a great weekend too & Happy Monday!!!

In 10 Years?, Award, & Party Prep

My new bloggy friend Katy over at Backwoods Boy and a Fairytale Princess just tagged me to do this "Where will you be in 10 years?" post. I thought it would be fun so here we go...

In ten years...
1. Justin & I will be 40! (Holy crap, I thought this was going to be fun!)
2. Jonathan will either be graduating college or playing "pro" in a sport. (He plays baseball, football, & basketball and is awesome at them all!) Hopefully I will not be a grandmother yet. I have a rule that I have to be over 40 before I have grand kids. All my boys know this!
3. Ethan will be graduating High School! (fingers crossed, j/j)
4. Jaxon will be a teenager! (God help me with this one!)
5. Watching Evan play football! This little guy is made for football. He's solid!!!
6. I hope to be skinny and finally free of this baby weight! (I think 10 years is enough time to do it!)
7. Doing something I love and making $$$ for it!
8. Have all our debt payed off and building wealth! I want to be able to call the Dave Ramsey show and yell, " We're Debt Free!!!"
9. Finally have had my wedding of my dreams, white dress and all!
10. Be happy and healthy! (no just me, but Justin & the boys) This is the most important of them all!!!

Well I'm off to go get the rest of our party supplies and to find a store to make a dinosaur cake! Hope Evan gets in a better mood. He's being a Mr. Cranky Pants this morning! Plus I need to figure out if Jonathan will be able to make his brother's party. He has opening day for baseball and his game is at 5:30. So far it's not looking good, but I'm trying to keep positive about it! Hope y'all have a happy Friday and a great weekend!!!
