That evening I decided I was going to make The Pioneer Woman's Cajun Meatloaf. You can see what it's supposed to look like here. Mine turned out mushy in the middle. I guess I didn't add enough bread crumbs or something. It was my first attempt to make any kind of meatloaf. I ended up having to make chicken for dinner. This is what mine looked like after I hacked into it!
I made some mashed potatoes and peas to go with the chicken! Evan loved the peas so much!
We were all cracking up because we thought it looked like a booger in his nose. I needed a good laugh after my "first time cooking meatloaf failure"!
I also received two awards yesterday!!! Made my Monday better thanks ladies!
"This award means you're really going places, Baby. You'll still be blogging about your great adventures 10 years from now, and I'll still be reading them. "
I received this one from Short Southern Momma! Go check her out. Her blog is so cute!I received this one from Backwoods Boy and a Fairytale Princess! I just started following her blog and I like what I see! Go check her out too!!!
I have to go and get ready because my sister is coming over today with my niece and nephew! We're going to the Mardi Gras parade in Galveston tonight! The kiddos are so excited! Happy Fat Tuesday y'all!!!

ReplyDeletemeatloaf is tricky, I'm a vegetarian so I never taste it when I cook it.... haha... so my poor husband is left to lie to me and tell me it tastes great.
