Pinterest - Red Skinnies

So I found these red skinnies at Walmart of all places for only $5!!! Holla!!! I also got a pair in Teal & Kelly Green. I was soooooo excited since I've been wanting to rock some color skinnies. Of course after buying them I wondered wth kind of top do I wear with them. So I hit up Pinterest & this is what I came up with...

 Okay so the last one really wasn't inspiration, but it was too funny not to throw in there!!!

So what do y'all think! A little nautical & patriotic!!! Plus Jonathan's baseball game is tonight & his school colors are red & blue. Winning!!!

Trying Out Pinterst!

This week I got a little crafty and tried some Valentine crafts that I found on Pinterest.

This one was so easy! All you need is some supplies from the dollar store. This whole thing cost me $2! Woohoo! I think it came out really cute.

The next thing I tried was this really cute idea to keep up with my weight loss. I've lost 13lbs so far. Can I get a "high five"?!!!

I didn't put the wording on them yet because I haven't decided how I want to do it (I don't have one of those crafty vinyl cutting thinga ma jigs)!

 

I did find some really cute glass bead things a the dollar store though. They're flowers, leaves and butterflies. So this whole thing cost me $3 for the beads because I already had the vases!!! Yay!!!

Trying Out Pinterest!

Okay I have one fail and one success story from Pinterest today. Hopefully by now everybody knows about Pinterest! Right?! Well if not you can follow me here!!!

THEN I read the whole story. Oops! It was a horrible hoax. I had to break the news to the boys. They were not happy at all. Lesson learned. You NEED to read the pin first before trying! Ha!

Next was this awesome necklace. It's supposed to help athletes with balance and stuff!!

I bought one for Jonathan, since he's about to start his first year of High School baseball (can't believe I just typed that!). He seems to like it. I don't know if it really helps or anything, but at least it looks cool (isn't that whats really important to teenagers anyway)!

Trying Out Pinterst

I'm still loving Pinterest. It's so addictive. I still have my vision board on my wall next to my kitchen, but I love how I can have so many more in one place on Pinterst!!! So have y'all attempted any of y'all's pins?! Cause isn't that the point!!! Well this week I made a recipe I posted on my recipe board. It was called Pizza Braid.

Well I'm off to drag a bin I just put our Christmas tree in into the garage ( Yes, I just took it down. I was even starting to consider making it into a Mardi Gras tree! Ha!) It took me this long because I couldn't find a bag or bin to put it in. So it's just been sitting there in the living room all naked!!! Hope y'all have a great Thursday! P.S. Curly Hair Fail!!!

I'm always looking for easy ways to fix my hair. I have no clue why I thought this would work with my hair. I mean what was I thinking. My hair is way too thick & too long (this is not a bad thing, I love my hair just the way it is)! This is what I looked like trying this...


Justin & the boys thought I looked hilarious! Jaxon said I looked like I had big white ears. Personally I thought it was more Princess Leia-ish.


Twins separated at birth! Right?! Oh well it didn't work. I cooked & ate dinner with the towel tied around my head. Then it started to fall, so I just took it off. Two and a half hours later...still a wet mess. Boo! Total Pinterest fail!!!
