Days like these...

Days like these are a good form of birth control. Days like these are the reason that I am considering taking "crazy pills"! Days like these I have to remind myself to take a deep breath and count to ten. Days like these I find myself praying to God for strength. What my day has consisted of?

First thing this morning Evan decided to throw everything out of the kitchen cabinets and onto the floor. He stepped on my new baking pan & put a big dent in it. He also decide to break the lid part off of my printer. Then he decided to TP the bathroom.

After picking up I decided to be brave and head to the grocery store. The only thing that went well there was that Evan slept the entire time.

When we got home we ate lunch and then Jaxon and Evan went in the backyard to play. Evan game walking into the house looking like this...

Little did I know he had dumped the dogs water on his head, then he decided to rub some dirt in it.  Oh, yes that is a board (have no clue where it came from). He decided to drag it through the entire house with me chasing him. When I finally took the board back outside I came back in to find him throwing clothes out of his dresser drawers. The worst part was that he emptied the dirty clothes hamper & now all the clothes are mixed up! Dirty with the clean!

Now he is playing tug-a-war with the dog and a USB cord that goes to Ethan's mp3 player. Thank you Baby Jesus that it's only a few more hours until bedtime. Oh I almost forgot...besides sleeping 45mins in the grocery store Evan hasn't taken a real nap. I'm bracing myself for mister cranky pants!!! Hope y'all have a great Tuesday (better than mine)!

  1. Wow that is not fun. I am having a bad day as well. Hailey dumped my coffee from this morning on the carpet, her toys and her shirt. That was a joy trying to clean up. To add to all the fun, she is teething and is clingy and crabby. (sigh) I love that little one but I am in need of break. I need to remember, tomorrow will be a new day.

So you aren't the only mama with some drama. lol. I hope you have a better night!

  2. Sounds like we are all having one of those days! Kelcee decided after she has been completly potty trained since Nov that she would pee in her pants while watching spongebob ON the side of our couchbed....yep a big mess! I didn't make a big deal about it 'cause accidents happen :0) I guess it must have been a really good part of the show LOL....
Now I have been cleaning sheets thank goodnees it didn't get on the mattress all afternoon!

Oh and then she crumbled her lunch in the floor and stomped in cheese....yup I have been trying to get cheese out of the carpet for like 20 min....LOL

So girlie you are not alone on the drama! Hope you have a better day tommorrow

    love ya
    Summer :0)

  3. Days like this remind me of the song, "You're Gonna Miss This." Not sure if you're a country fan, but you may be able to appreciate it AFTER they go to bed and the day is over. Take a listen! :) Hope tomorrow is better for ya!

  4. Some non mamma drama, but still drama none the less.... There was a hair in my bagel (not mine), a client yelled at me for not being sensitive enough (bitch), I forgot to put on deoderant this morning (you could tell), and I think I broke my external hard drive at work (but haven't told anyone)Sheesh!

And, no, we didn't have the lamps out yet so you're not as crazy as you think ;)

  5. aww sister friend, I remember those days. Im sorry. I want to just let you know, this will be over in a flash and then you will wish you had those chubby cheeks back ( dog water and all). You are doing great and just keep pressing into Him!!... Im sending you big hugs and a prayer for grace and an abundance of love!! xoxo LA

  6. what a hard day! you poor gal! what is it with kids and a gigantic desire to unroll the t.p. and put it everywhere!?! hope your wednesday is much better!

  7. You know I am a lot better in SUV's but I just hate long car rides. I get really ansy.

lol no no I do not have a tramp stamp. I promise! I have one on each ankle and shoulder and one on my wrist. And I want more! I think a lot of people are surprised when they find out I have 5. :)

I am glad I am not the only mama that gets frazzled and has hard days. I mean I am not happy you are having a bad day. Just that it's a normal thing. And I only have one kid to deal with. I love what you said about the birth control. I am definitley ok with holding off on more kids for awhile! :)

    Have a great night!

  8. Oh girl, I am right there with ya. It was one of those day for me as well!

  9. At least he's got the cute factor going for him! ;) That helps ease the pain....right?
I have many of those days!

  10. sorry it's been a rough day! The "Octo-mom" was on Oprah today... at least you don't have 14 to deal with!

  11. OH YUCK! I hope you have a better day today!

  12. Wow...you had quite a day!! And I just made a comment that I was ready for another baby. Hmmm....I may need to re-think after reading this post :)
Hope your Wednesday goes much smoother!!

  13. Aw, honey, those days are the worst! It seems like anything that can go wrong will go wrong--plus more!

Hoping today is a MUCH better day! xoxo

  14. Oh I am sorry that you had such a rough day! And I am sorry that I laughed while reading this post! Please forgive me! But I know how it feels. I have had those days and it makes it better to just laugh!!!! :)

Hope today is better for you!

  15. And THAT is why boys are more difficult to parent than girls. Seriously. I have had so many people tell me that girls are harder and I just look at them like they are nuts. Boys are ca-razy. But we love 'em anyway. ;)
    Hope tomorrow is better!

  16. Your son Evan sounds a lot like my daughter. The only thing is, she is 6! I have "crazy" days every day. I wanted to let you know that I really enjoy your blog and have an award for you to pick up, so come by and get it!

  17. Oh dear. I have no words of wisdom, just sympathy, we don't have children (our choice) so i cant pretend to know what you are going through, but i can see it can be tough & i hope you are ok. Keep smiling :)

  18. cannot stop reading this post...Ha! Makes me laugh each time :)

  19. Oh NO! I am right there wit hya :) The dog's water :) Sounds funny from here....but I am sure it wasn't for you :)
